Mayfield and Easthouses Youth 2000 Project (Y2K) offers a programme of projects every week, which incorporates the following targeted services:
Across these services young people are able to access a safe environment where by they are supported by the relationships with staff to express themselves and participate as fully as they choose.
Although each service offered is driven by needs and issues as expressed by young people, by engaging and working with Y2K young people will experience some of the following benefits:
- Greater self-confidence and self-awareness
- Reduced feeling of disaffection and exclusion
- Improved technical or vocational skills
- Greater and more developed life and social skills
