S2-6 – Wednesdays 7.30-9.30 p.m.
S1-6 – Fridays 7.30-9.30 p.m.
There are also workshops that young people can register for running from 6.30-7.30 p.m each of these nights. See our programme for March here.
Our Involve-U sessions for young people provide a comfortable environment for young people to relax. However they can also play pool, listen to music, hang out in our chill out zones, play board games, computer games, as well as having opportunities to take part in a variety of activities and to talk with youth work staff. There is a tuck shop run by some of our youth volunteers and free fruit and diluting juice available. We also are part of the NHS Lothian C:Card service and C:card services are available during these times.
If you are a young person who would like to come along and not currently registered as a member of Y2K contact us and we can organise to get you registered before the session you wish to come along to.
Life Skills (S1-6) (4.00-5.00 p.m.)
Weekly workshops for young people where they have the opportunity to do Dynamic Youth awards while learning a variety of skills and participate in discussions about issues affecting young people in our community.
Transitions (P7s) (6.00-8.00 p.m.)
This group is a space for P7s to meet some of our youth volunteer “Peer Pals” to help with the transition from primary to secondary school. A range of activities are provided by youth work staff each week. Young people have access to our drop-in facilities for the whole 2 hours and a tuck shop is available serving snacks and drinks alongside free fruit provided by the Food Glorious Food fund.
*Please note that if your child did not register with us in January, they will need to bring with them a completed registration form with consent from a parent/carer. To get a form contact us on 0131 454 9805 or pop into our office which is open Monday-Friday*
Girls Group (S1-6) (2.00 p.m.-4.00 p.m.)
