“Our 2021 summer programme has been one like no other! Thanks to funding received from The John Watsons Trust, Cash 4 Kids, Cashback for Communities and Youth Scotland and the support from Newbattle High school, we were able to deliver a varied, full and fun 7 week programme for over 70 local young people. Daily free meals were provided for all young people as well as wide range of trips and activities. We identified the importance of giving young people the opportunity to participate, reengage and gain new experiences after such a challenging time during lockdowns.
